A bit dark, and a little dingy too

I played at Napoleons a couple of times in their poker tournaments, and I have to say, the first thing that struck me when I entered, was how dark it was, which made it seem almost a bit dingy.
It was easy enough to register, and the front door staffs were all polite, but all immediately it just seemed very dark and dull. In fact with the exception of the lights above the tables, it is very poorly lit indeed.
They have a table gaming area, with roulette, blackjack, touch bet gaming, and slot machines, and also a small cafe bar area too. Compared with some casinos, I found the poker area quite small, it was basically about half a dozen tables in a small area surrounded by a wooden bannister rail. However, the dealers were friendly, and so to were the ladies who brought chips around if you decided to re-buy. Being the amazing poker player that I am, I was out pretty quick, and decided to play Blackjack. The table limits were OK, I think minimum bet was either £2 or £3. However the dealers seemed very detached and slightly disinterested. I tried to strike up a conversation with two separate ones, and each of them didn't seem to want to talk.
I did OK on blackjack and decided to call it a night. If it had a bit more of an appeal about it, I would be inclined to visit again. However, at the moment it just seems very dingy and unappealing, so I doubt I'd visit here again.
